Meraki Chocolateria: Packaging Design for Growth
Thoughtful packaging for a growing artisan brand
Meraki Chocolatería is a small, artisan chocolate business built with care, patience, and a clear love for the craft.
With plans to expand her business, the founder identified packaging as a strategic tool to elevate the product, reinforce brand perception, and move to a more premium market position.
At the time, I worked as Creative Director within a printing and design company. My role was to lead the packaging design process: defining the creative direction based on an established client briefing, guiding a designer through the concept development, and ensuring the visual solution aligned with both the brand vision and commercial goals.
From creative direction to production-ready packaging
Once the design direction was defined, our team developed the box structures, managing the print design specifications, selecting materials and finishes, and preparing the artwork to move seamlessly into production.
The resulting packaging played a meaningful role in supporting Meraki Chocolatería’s expansion, contributing to stronger brand presence.
The packaging provided a clear, tangible expression of growth, turning intention, care, and craft into something you could hold in your hands.
